AVENTUS was founded in 2018 as a joint venture of the world market leaders HAVER & BOECKER and WINDMÖLLER & HÖLSCHER. We have united both parent companies in our motto “Perfect Combination of Competence and Technology” and moreover in our company name. The Latin word Avena means oats, Ventus stands for wind. Our company name thus symbolizes on the one hand our attachment to our roots and our appreciation of the respective corporate traditions. In addition, AVENTUS refers to our strengths. As an independent subsidiary of companies with decades of experience, we live out characteristics such as focus, flexibility and dynamism in the spirit of an innovative start-up.
