Founded in 1946, dfv Mediengruppe is today one of the most successful companies in its sector in Germany and Europe. It employs around 950 people in Germany and abroad and generated sales of 143.8 million euros in 2018. The dfv Mediengruppe specializes in business-to-business communication. It currently offers more than 100 trade publications for eleven important business sectors. All of them are strong media brands that serve all channels of modern professional information: from printed magazines to digital offerings such as newsletters, e-papers and apps, and even highly specialized events. The dfv portfolio is rounded off by around 400 trade book titles that serve as practical guides, as well as numerous service offerings such as market research.

Quality pays off - for our readers and customers as well as for us as a company: In the annual ranking of the 150 trade magazines with the highest advertising sales in Germany, no other media company is represented with more titles than dfv Mediengruppe, four times alone among the top 10 (source: HORIZONT No. 20/2019, based on publisher data): Lebensmittel Zeitung is in second place, with TextilWirtschaft and HORIZONT tied for third. The dfv portfolio also includes AHGZ - Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung (10th), fvw, the magazine for tourism and business travel (13th), and Immobilien Zeitung (23rd).
