Motion06 gmbh

Motion06 gmbh was registered under commercial law on January 19, 2006 with its registered office in Neumarkt.

The founders (J. Thaler, M. Brunninger, R. Berner) had gained many years of experience in design, engineering, manufacturing and project management of complex conveyor systems in their professional careers and were therefore able to quickly implement their new business model of a dynamic, modern company focused on quality. In the first years, the focus was on the development and production of high-performance and high-quality machines and components for baggage handling systems at airports (BHS). The first production site was Neumarkt, in the province of Salzburg. Already in the first years the company succeeded in selling machines and components to leading system integrators and airports worldwide in Austria and internationally. 2006 Foundation

2007 Establishment of the production site in Neumarkt am Wallersee First exports to the Arabic region and overseas First international appearance at the Interairport 2007

2008 Development of a high-performance belt curve and distributor based on our own development and technology Development of the new series of vertical distributors with a performance increase up to 2000 pieces of luggage per hour and a reduction of the drive power The strongly growing business enables us to move into a larger production hall.

2009 Conclusion of distribution agreements with partners in Russia and Ukraine for the export of Motion06 machines and components to these countries

2010 The first of over 2000 belt conveyor cams is installed

2011 Expansion of the product portfolio for the intralogistics application area

2013 Construction of our own new production hall and office in the industrial center of Lengau (near Salzburg, approx. 35 km away from Salzburg Airport)

2014 Takeover of the Motion06 gmbh shares by m.schneider Holding GmbH and private investors

2015 Conclusion of distribution agreements with local partners in China, Singapore, Korea, Australia and Canada

2016 Establishment of a distribution partner based in Singapore - Motion06 Asia Pte Ltd - for the distribution of machines and components in Southeast Asia Establishment of a production and distribution joint venture based in Shanghai/China - Hermione-Motion06 (Shanghai) Co., Ltd - for the production of machines and components for China and Southeast Asia

2019 Merger Motion06 GmbH with Duravant

Today, Motion06 gmbh employs over 50 highly motivated employees at the Lengau site under the management of Managing Director Markus Brunninger and authorized signatory Ing. Johann Thaler. As of the end of 2018, Motion06 machines and components were installed and in operation at over 70 airports worldwide (e.g. Salzburg, Innsbruck, Munich, Düsseldorf, Heathrow, Gatewick, Calgary, Bogota, Changi Singapore, Incheon Seoul etz). In the intralogistics area, deliveries were made to all major global Post & Parcel distribution companies (DHL, UPS, etc). Motion06 works with all major system integrators active worldwide.
