MG2 was founded in 1966 , when the first continuous-motion capsule filler (Model G36) was introduced on the market. Since then, MG2 has supplied thousands of machines not only to small and medium size companies, but also to multinational Companies all over the world.

Led by Manuela and Saverio Gamberini, sons of Ernesto Gamberini, one of the founding shareholders of the company, today MG2 is a market leader in the designing and manufacturing of capsule filling machines .

Beside capsule filers, MG2 Processing Division also manufactures complementary quality control machines, weight control systems and weighing/sorting machines for tablets and capsules.

The Packaging Division offers a reliable range of automatic packaging machines for pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics and foodstuffs, such as: blister machines, cartoners, vertical and horizontal case-packers, forming and filling machines for boxes and trays, palletizers, Track & Trace systems for cartons, bottles and bundled products.
